Project 2 - Emotion

When trying to photograph wonder I specific color doesn’t really come to mind. When trying to convey this emotion through photo I think that light will play a more important role rather than color. The play of darks and lights can invoke wonder in a person. Darkness can hide or cover part of a photo making it unclear as to what the photo may be capturing. Another way to look at the project is more of the awe inspiring beauty aspect. When I think of awe I think of bright lights and something that really captures your eye and makes you want to know more.
I will be shooting in color to try and capture that awe and the surprise of the photo. I feel inspired by the magnificence of either the subject or the light interacting with the content of the photo to really make it stand out in a way that it might normally not stand out. The shine and glare and other aspects of light that can be manipulated by the camera will be put into use in this project. I will look for inspiration on the streets and wandering around seeing what catches my eye or what can be manipulated in an interesting way.
